Dying Love
by Jeffrey Joseph Kazmierczak
This burden lies heavy
On these shoulders of mine
When the light in my life
Is ceasing to shine
Thinking about it
Makes the hurt grow so strong
I wish I could go back
And right every wrong
My Love is now angry
With what she herself knows
And my heart’s been torn open
By the thorns of the rose
Love is a strange thing
It is seen through bright eyes
But resisting is futile
When love wants to die
To where can I go
And who can I turn
For a shoulder to cry on
Because I still love you
You said it yourself
Love is not everythng
Yet, in the life that I lead
Love rules like a king
But what can be done
When push comes to shove
What can be done to
Save a dying love…

The touch from your soul
by David Sines
A deep soul?s embrace
I can reach from this place
When I?ve looked in your eyes
I feel deep inside
See further than life
Past the beating of your heart Deep into your soul
Into your light they call life
Past any dreams and thoughts
Till the thing I feel inside
Is nothing but pure essence
Of who you are
I feel you so much
Your warm and tender embrace
As we lie here beside
On my chest lies your face
You hear my heart
Beating deep inside
Yet at the same time
It?s beating inside you
It beyond explanation
It?s beyond words themselves
To touch your soul
To feel your heart
And my love deep inside you
Is my fuel
What keeps me going
What keeps me coming back for more
To touch you forever
That is my dream
The deepest of intimacies
Like no other before
I have touched your soul
And you reached back and touched mine.
Did you know it?
Did you feel it?
It drives me mad deep inside
I crave it like nothing else…
Food and water I do not need
The air itself, I would not breathe
All things seem frivolous
Nothing seems important
Except feeling that touch of your soul again
Those special times
So few and between
So far apart
Because we have to be
So far apart
Drives me mad
To not hold and keep you
Right next to me
Where we belong
I can feel your soul
Even so many miles away
But the pain
Oh the pain
Of not holding you inside me
Fuels a jealousy like none other
A hate of the world
For the responsibilities of life
Conspiring to keep us apart
I would break
I would scream
I would holler
I would die
You?re so deep inside
Just a simple twist
And I?ll never breathe again
Don?t hurt me
I beg you
Don?t let me push you away
The life, the energy
That I feel inside
To touch your soul, so deep inside
And for you to touch mine back
I?m scared to death
I can?t live without you
I can?t wait to hold you again
I can?t stand not to be near you
Yet I deal with life
I have to
To whisk you away
From all this noise
From life as we know it
I would love to do
Pictures of cottages
And hidden mountains
And babbling brooks
Come to my mind
The things of life
I feel we don?t need
Even food and water
I could leave behind
For the touch of your soul
For you to touch mine back
For the craving of hearts
For the love that is blind
It fuels my soul
It could be my life
You?re all that I need
To keep me alive
Your deep soul?s embrace
I can feel from this place
I feel you deep inside
In the beating of my heart
In this light they call my life.

Kiss
by Angel Clairmont
Lo’ on the winds- what is this?
on it, through lover’s breath, a kiss
so, whilst this wonderous wind blows by,
I float upon the bliss of it…

Maybe
by Carl Sandburg
Maybe he believes me, maybe not.
Maybe I can marry him, maybe not.
Maybe the wind on the prairie,
The wind on the sea, maybe,
Somebody, somewhere, maybe can tell.
I will lay my head on his shoulder
And when he asks me I will say yes,
Maybe.

Dear God
by A. Kelly
Dear God,
I asked you once to send me love. I thought you forgot about me.
I was so lonely. You answered my prayers.
Next time I’ll be more specific–or be grateful for simplicity.
I meant one person, instead you sent me three.
A blessing– yes, a challenge–definately.
Each has something different, yet equal to offer.
One promises me a future, a child, a life-long commitment.
He vows to love me and no one else for the rest of his life.
One promises to take care of me, to provide for me,
to change me from a HoPeLeSs romantic, into one who is fullfilled.
One loves me now–calls me his first love.
Takes care of me now; let’s me rely on him for anything.
One lies, One cries, One forgets.
I cry– too much love leads to too much loss.
I must choose–or they’ll choose for me.
God, forgive me and I will forgive you.

Love
by Robert Browning
So, the year’s done with
( Love me forever! )
All March begun with,
April’s endeavour;
May-wreaths that bound me
June needs must sever;
Now snows fall round me,
Quenching June’s fever…
( Love me forever! )

Song
by Christina Rossetti
When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head
Nor shady cypress tree.
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dew-drops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain.
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set
Haply I may remember
And haply may forget.

Cry for you
by sue p Lilacvpi
I cry, I cry tonight… I cry
Tossing and turning till my tears run dry.
Longing to be in your arms, again,
Unexpected to be in misery and pain.
Darkness embraced with quarter moon.
Sitting alone by quiet lagoon.
Slowly swaying of Weeping willow,
Whispering pine sighed in my sorrow.
It’s been so long since you’ve gone.
The emptiness I face from dusk to dawn.
Remembered how our love was meant to be.
Your caressing touch lingers, just a memory.
As times go by I feel so blue.
I can’t stop thinking of you.
I hope, I pray… everyday I yearn
I know someday you will return.

Window to My Heart
by G L M
The softness of a gentle rain
now trickles down this window sill
And touched emotions once again
to memories of a love, surreal.
Yet, rain can never wash away
these feelings stored inside
That seem to grow immense each day
this window cannot hide.
This window to my heart, you see
is only meant for you
To look inside or open wide
whichever one you choose.
To Renee, my love

COLORS OF LOVE
by ANGELA CHRISTINE SHOUP
An ocean of blue looking over me
A hand guiding me along the way
But far off in the distance I can see
The sun rising, bringing another day
In this day of gold a feeling is born
A touch so soft and so pure I know
For with you my heart will never be torn
In this forest a love begins to grow
A forest of green guarding all my love
A kiss filled with passion from our desire
I know we are being watched from above
But what burns within me is a fire
A fire of red, burning bright in the night
Memories I will have forever
I know the feelings deep inside are right
Because at the end stands you, my treasure.
